Jerry: Have you thought about getting your progress so far published? That way we would have a record of it if you decide to go another route. Al
I may at some time Al, but for now Tranboard has the 'exclusive'. After the events of late, perhaps an artical in one of the hunting mags would be better......LOL
Ben a looong time since I've posted on T.B. BUT ya nearly gave me heart failure there Jerry! Glad you've decided to carry on! your work is outstanding, and I'd miss this thread!!
Still have alot of cleaning to do, and more painting, but the new trees have been 'planted' and some added where there were none before. Went a little taller with some this time to change the look some. BIG improvement over what it did look like.
New trees can be seen on the top left, in the middle, and all the way to the back. Tree in the front managed to stay glued down, but the top still needs some 'Fluffing' to get the smashed look out. Going to add more static grass to help hide some of the cleanup work stains here and there.
Thanks Mike......it sure dont look like much, but there was ALOT of work done. The feather and 'crap' cleanup took several hours/days!
This is the next area to finish. All these trees where laying down to the right.....some still have a slight lean after cleanup and leaning them back up straight. I think the squrrel or owl was body slammed here and it just mowed them all down flat. Owl crap on both tracks has been cleaned off and I did run a train over it and no track or current problems.
With all (owl?) that fertilizer, your layout should stay green for years! Glad things are up & running again, and looking green & groovy!
