What classification are those Geeps? Built from older GP9? GP7? Can't quite see enough louvers, etc, to guess. Boxcab E50
Boxcab, no real difference. Better eletronics were added which made it possible to add remote control. Engine, flywheel etc were gutted and brought back to new standard so they did not die every 30 miles.
I thought I liked Canadian cabs. I certainly don't like normal GE widenoses. But I never realized just how... pug-faced a C44-9WL was.
Not an engine but still a type of power. This is what a lot of the CN trucks have been looking like lately in the last 6 months or so. Any kind of truck you can think of on the road I've pretty much seen painted like this. I like the look and think it's good for the company image rather then some of the trucks I have seen in the past.
I saw one of those trucks in Victoria, BC not too long ago. CN stopped running trains out of Victoria 18 years ago, but I guess their trucks still show up from time to time.
