Ohh Id love to see more Cabeese too..nice bay window type..Mopac..and Mopac hoppers!!...And CB&Q Jeeps!!!!!!!!!! I would buy a set right now if they were the early ones. Heavyweight cars, and a Doodlebug for CB&Q and/ or Mopac. I was wondering if one could make a doodlebug out of those Hallmark christmastree thingies..
I'm a Midwestern guy living in the South. Doubt if there would be any Tennessee Central done in Z, but could hope. L&N would be OK. Mostly I'm looking for MILW or CRIP. Need some cabooses to go with the GP's. Don't do any cars for sport teams, even national champions.
More BNSF and BN would be nice. MTL could slap 4 or 5 schemes on there 50' Boxcars. Patched units, H1 & H3 would look great on the new SD40-2. Don't forget 60' flatcars and bulkheads! Lots could be done with the current rolling stock out there. :tb-wink:
A bay window caboose in 'Nickel Plate High Speed Service', a centre cupola caboose in Nickel Plate and also Wheeling and Lake Erie and most of all a GP30 in NKP black and yellow (and a PA1 and a RS11 and an SD9 and a H16/44 and C420 well you know evrything really!)
Hi, I'm new to Trainboard, but if it's all right I wouldlike to suggest more CN, CP and BCR. It would be great to see more SPS also. All types of cars and engines. Although I'm a novice, I've seen alot of new rolling stock come available since 2000. If we vote with our dollars maybe the mfg. will respond with even more new cars & engines.:tb-cool: Thanks, JC
I would like to see BNSF,BN, SF, MRL rolling stock, Some plastic dash-9's or Dash 8-40-b's & c's would be great
Well, um, I think my "user" name says it all and I feel like the lone stranger here with the ARR requests but it looks like MTL is about to make my wish come true soon with a GP38 in Alaska as well as the passenger set so I'm not complaining much these days ;o} Karin Snyder
Hi there With all these new ARR releases I'm considering to find a dark spot in history to be able running ARR stuff together with my all canadian rolling stock (wasn't there in the late 70's plans for a north-south transcon? :tb-cool: As for locomotives I'd wish we see a BCRail loco someday! But I'll also go with CP or CN; I really pray for an SD 40-2 in CP colors (joe, you hear some voice in your head, right? :tb-biggrin, the more roadnumbers, the better! And a "Canadian" (train #1 or #2) passenger car set would be so cooooool...! I was hoping for AZL to produce the Budd RDC either in CN, CP or BCRail livery, but they missed out... :tb-sad: Never mind, there was a lot of stuff to buy in the last few years; I hope there's a lot more to come! best wishes from switZerland! Daniel
New to TrainBoard I am not too road specific but I do concentrate on modern or current era equipment. What I really really want is a switcher; SW1500, or MP15. For freight cars I'd like to see a modern tank car(AZL?), an ore jennie, a coil car, and a bay window caboose.
Welcome to Trainboard Bobby. I guess a switcher is one of the most requested new items. I know Joe D is looking on the possibility of making one, but I dont expect one within two years. Come to think of it, I am still waiting for my CSX AZL SD70 and MTL SD40.
Lackawanna, Lehigh, & Reading The three lines I have listed in the title. Especially, Reading and Lehigh Valley in that order. I grew up on the other side of the Susquehanna River from the Lehigh Valley main. Delaware and Hudson engines, GP-38 Rob A&K? Erie Lackawanna engines, can be kitbashed to early Conrail, there have been Penn Central and they were only alive for 8 years.:mnerd:
How about Lehigh & New England or Lehigh and Hudson. They both were connector railroads and I'm not sure if they had any rolling stock with their logo other than their locomotive. Robert
DRGW SW1000 or SW1200........ I could use a DRGW SW1000 or SW1200........ DRGW didn't use any SW1 did they? Regards, Frank
People will probably laugh, but I would like a Southern Pacific 4449 in her American Freedom Train colors - When she toured the US in that scheme, my 3rd grade class went on an extended field trip to see her, and I was one of the few kids, that toured the cab, worked the bell, and whistle that day. Others I would like to obtain, is a Big Boy and Challenger in Z scale.
Nope - even then unless it is already built and ready to run, I'm still going to be SOL, even if I could afford it.
