Instead of bore you with the details, lets jump right in and I'll show you what I've done. The first of my order arrived this morning and was promptly moved into position: These wheels are heavy and take a lot of man power even to just roll them into place!
Watching the expert work crew lower the trucks onto the wheel sets was a real treat! Their experience really showed through by how easy they made it look! One of the guys check the bearing while another adds some grease.
It was quite a fun light show as they welded the frame together! They sure dont waste any time getting the job done!
Before I knew it, they had the whole Gondola assembled!! Here they are finishing up the coupler mounts. Same thing on the other side:
This is where I came in! Finally, after a long month of coordination, that lightening fast assembly crew presented me with a finished and painted TrainBoard Exchange gondola, road number 3401! I cant wait to put this baby to work!!
Awesome, Mark! Excellent way to start the story. I can't wait to see the rest! Very good photography and modeling.
Nice storyline, Mark! I can hardly wait to see what this car will get to haul, and where it will travel!
