First - Can this thread be stickied? Who doesn't want to show off... :tb-biggrin: I bought this on E Bay, from the maker. My wife made me put it waay until Christmas, but it did a nice few loops. lt's all Atlas. I'd buy another! Dang camera, I guess my sons wall needs some work....
We certainly got more posts in this than I thought we would.. Those look really really cool! Almost makes me want a holiday train.
For X-mas: 1 new Atlas SD-60 BN 1 new Atlas RS-11 DH 1 used Atlas B30-7 CSX Want: Kato F7 SF like the Tyco HO one I received when I was a kid in the 70s.
My two newest locos First up is my Atlas MP 15 Missouri Pacific, picked this up because I heard they ran great, and I was not disappointed. This is my Nederlandse Spoorwegen passenger loco, from the Dutch NS system. My girlfriend being Dutch and all got this for me along with four NS passenger cars, which I should of included in the pic, maybe later. This one is made by Fleischmann, it also runs great. And the really cool part is I can run power to it thru power lines instead of thru the track. (if I really felt like setting that up)
very nice MP The foreign trains are starting to interest me the more I see them.. May have to pick one up sometime..
After some postings here and there I was able to aquire a couple of these MP15's in N scale, but they are the same road number for now. One has the factory Lenz decoder and the other is waiting for one. A nice addition to my VO1000 Tiger Stripe. The photos were taken on my FreemoN Colton CA module of Fogg street (underpass) at La Cadena next to the fire station. This is SF trackage with the SP (gray ballast) connecting about a mile south of the diamonds in Colton.
I took your advice and bought a BNSF SD75i. Can't wait to get it in hand. Will take pics of my December purchases and post them as soon as the last three gets here. Loving the photos gents.
Bought another three new ones over the weekend: 1 new Atlas SD-9 BNSF 1 new Atlas 8-40BW BNSF 1 new Atlas SD-35 UP Six more decoders to buy....ugh! Still haven't bought the Kato F7 SF Bloody Nose yet. :tb-hissyfit:
WOW!!! That's quite a task you have you your hands. I guessing that there are about 20 steamer sound decoders in the mix too. Happy installing my friend.
