Hello First post here on Trainboard and I have just ordered your special run car a few minutes ago...looking forward to delivery ...Thank You
Wow, our first reported International arrival! Other than Canada I shipped to Australia (several), Switzerland, Germany, the U.K., Japan, and France. Charie
UPDATE: Note above that I have removed the number of cars that have been shipped. The reason for this is that I am virtually caught up other than a few people that I am working with, etc. For regular orders, what will be shipped in the morning will catch us up. New orders that come in will be shipped quickly now. I have also recalculated the number of cars available and I was off a bit. As of this posting I have 81 cars available for order. Thanks again everyone! Charie
Another international arrival, received mine on Friday, Apr. 5th. The car looks even better viewed up close and 3D, thanks again to TB for making this whole thing happen.
A M-I box car arrived today, to Queensland in Australia. Looks great. Thank you to the TB team for the effort.
Received mine today in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, just in time for a three day display in our clubs Model Railway Museum & Display Centre at the Annual Royal Show. It will of course have the factory air let out and be running in a train, although it might not mean much to many visitors, I will know they are looking at something special. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of this worldwide project, I look forward to future items.
USPS website has been saying that mine has been "Processed at USPS Origin Sort Facility, Jamaica, NY" for the past 3 days. :crying: What's the hold up USPS? Is the Jetstream blowing in the wrong direction for your carrier pigeon? hboy:
Two months ago, I mailed a package to Canada. Seventeen days later, it arrived. Which was two weeks after the last USPS update. That part of their site function has become worthless, as nobody is updating it any more. With all the financial mess they have themselves in now, USPS has only two shipping points for mails outgoing from the USA- Los Angeles and one in NY. And it is not going to get any better.
Oh, that's just great! :rats: Back in 2008 my eBay purchases were only taking 6 days to get across the pond. Thanks for the info.
After paying the ransom to H.M. Customs & Revenue :crying: I am happy to report my M-I box car has arrived in the UK
Just ordered two !!! Had my eye on it for a while and finally checked into it. Can't wait, but since I didn't clear it with the Local Authority first, I will probably cook AND do the dishes tonight !!!
Uh oh. I hope this won't have a negative effect on future negotiations. Such as for land grants, etc... Might end up doing more than just these two chores! :uhoh:
As an employee of a postal contractor, I can confirm this. All mail going out of the US for here in Northern Californis goes to LA. Which is odd to because I order stuff from Japan and it always goes to San Francisco Int'l.
Who is "nobody"? How do you expect USPS or Canada Post to scan a package when it's not in their possession? Hmmm? Strange... I wonder what's in the scores of Canada Post trailers that can be seen everyday crossing the USA/Canada border in different parts of the Country. Maybe it's hot air?
