I have a question? The hyperlinks clearly indicate EBay USA but you end up at EBay Canada! What's up with this?? Thanks Bob C.
So, the price isn't bad, and I do know a gal who likes purple train cars, but they sort of look like they were left under a heat lamp, . http://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Scale-lot...950091?hash=item211fe3e64b:g:jwMAAOSwt5hYY2Rw
From what I have seen, these types of offerings, at swap meets, usually are found on the dollar or less table.
Okay line up now. All this is yours for a mere $100: http://www.ebay.com/itm/HUGE-LOT-OF...sh=item2a7beb8ec7:g:ImgAAOSwTuJYsa0b#viTabs_0
The original MT cars (then Kadee) were not shrink wrapped. Single MT cars are still not shrink wrapped, only the multi-car sets are. For the blue label cars the price is on the end label.
Here's one that I almost bid on. I'm always looking for TOFC flats and 4 for $.99 is great...but $23.75 shipping for 4 Atlas TOFC cars??? Not as bad as some of the posts here, but I almost broke my golden rule and didn't look at the shipping price before bidding (granted that's still only $6 a car, but I hate people who try to hide a minimum bid price by having a crazy shipping cost). http://www.ebay.com/itm/122384347880?ul_noapp=true#shpCntId
Note that the seller is located in Canada. Have you checked international postage rates lately? Here are some examples from the USA to Canada: https://www.usps.com/international/priority-mail-international.htm $24 may seem "crazy", but it appears to be in line with the prevailing rate.
Thats international shipping to the US. That might not be far off the mark. The $.99 price however wont be anywhere near that in 6 days when it ends
