I have added some pictures of progress on the pike. The Great Stuff hills are just that. Great Stuff as the base. Two weeks ago I completely removed an entire end section and started over. Geoff, I edited your post to show the pics correctly. To post pics follow this simple process. Click on the thumbnail in rail images and bring up the photo. Right click on the image and then go to properties and copy the link. When you post click on the image button below the text box and paste the link into the image box. The layout is looking great, the trees on the hills looks very realistic.
I made some progress today on the redo section. After I cleaned up the mess I ran test trains. I am proud to announce the slow orders are lifted. Still much to do, but that applies to the entire layout. I posted in the DCC forum that I got the wiring un-rigged and done right with Posi-Taps for all the drops.
