I don't have much else yet. My first attempt at a T Gauge SD70ACe was out of styrene, along with two hoppers and a gondola.
Mark, those pictures sure whet my appetite for T scale. I know a gent who most likely could draw any shell or body style needed in T scale. Doing some more dreaming on this end.
I also etched some ends for the hopper. I have 5 meters of T Gauge flex track I need to get a plan for. That's 1.5 scale miles. I played around with this as a future Z layout. Maybe it would work for T. I'd leave the dimensions the same and just lay T gauge track instead of Z. That would make a huge scenery to track ratio!
I would love to see a T gauge forum. I'm currently designing a layout for T gauge (and I'm new here). I grew up on N scale years ago, but I was always interested in Z. I'll eventually make a modular Z layout, but for now I'm leap frogging Z and heading for T.
I'm usually doing N, but here I am with a 1'x1' Z-scale layout, do who knows what's next. I'm all for a T-scale forum
Mark, Would you contact me at ljsnyder@charter.net. I'd like to talk to you about some T ideas. Thanks,
Oops my Post is in error. I thought this topic was on “Z” Scale. And it would appear that it is on “T” Scale which to the best of my knowledge is in between N & HO. Could someone chime in for me and verify that. That is what I gathered from the chart listed Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
You're thinking of TT, 1:120, which has it's own forum here: http://www.trainboard.com/highball/index.php?forums/tt-scale.178/
Sooo, I was just over on the Shapeway site and happened to click on T-scale-oh, boy!! There's some pretty cool stuff becoming available, I'm really liking the Pioneer Zephyr!! Lot's more North American prototypes on there.
Yeah, it's exciting that there's a growing amount of T gauge stuff at Shapeways. But then it's so difficult to find places to go to buy things in this scale, so I'm feeling the inevitable gravity of being attracted to Shapeways. I might need to learn how to draft some 3D designs for myself instead of asking if other people there are willing to scale down their existing designs from HO, N, or Z. Some do, some don't.
OK folks. Here you are. The former TT Scale has been converted to T Gauge. Prior TT posts will eventually be moved. Let's see some topics, links, photos....
PS- As my time allows, I will search message archives, and try to bring any previous T Gauge topics in here.
