Everybody likes FREE stuff and everybody especially likes our freebie kits. BUT wile there is always something free available you never know what it is or when a new kit is going to be available. And sometimes there is a long wait for a new one. Well, we are working on a way to change that. How about if you knew ahead of time what the kit was (maybe) and when it would be released (definitely) AND it would happen more often. I'VE GOT KITS READY TO SET FREE I can tell you right now that the next free kit will be a two story farmhouse. It's a beauty. We are going to tie freebies to sales, X number of sales (not dollars but number of sales) and a new freebie goes up AND we are hoping to have an on screen counter so you will know exactly when to expect it. We don't have the counter yet but starting NOW Fed 2nd 2018 The next 200 sales, small or large doesn't matter and the very cool Farm house will be Free to everyone. EVERYONE. www.Clevermodels.net
On their web site, what I could find was via the "Freebies" page link. All appear to be HO and O scales.
They give detailed instructions for printing in any scale in the freebie file "A" and their "FAQ" button.
I'm working in Z scale 1:220. I have purchase a program called Evens Designs and have been using it to do some of my building on Business card paper. It seem to be a good program and I can design any type of building I want, it comes with all different types of texture, in brick, siding, Roof tiles, even window, doors, Stained glass, sign creator, graffiti. Once designed, it can be printed out and put together! This is one of my first tries with the program so It's not the best you can do! But you have to place your own fold sections to put pieces together. the first was tried on Loren's Brentwood House and Garage in Z scale. I design it with out and measurements just used a photo of his laser cut wood building from the internet. all texture were used from the Even designs software. I used basswood strip 1/16inch to keep the shape and support roofs and any other thing I needed. The other is my own design of a freight station. I did this also with a flat print. I could have printed extra pieces and cut out and paste window over windows to get a 3D effect so it wouldn't be flat! Last building my own design! also printed on card stock! Wood Mill added later!
This is a link to the Evans Designs site. I like this because I can design any building in real life and scale it down to what I need But that's only if you like making Card stock builgings. There is no limit of what you can do. It fits my budget! They also have LED's and different things for lighting. Here are some screen shot from the program! there set to 220 scale. the last photo is brick with weather look! https://www.evandesignsmodelbuilder.com/
For quality reasons all Clever models kits are produced in O scale. Its easy to resize the kits to ant smaller scale by using the percent function on your printer. Its easy and the results are better then anything else available. Thom
In Z scale the image quality may not matter but Clever models images are Hi resolution, and as seemless and non repeating as possible the best in the business.
Do you do any Z scale Projects? Z scale seems to always get left out when folks make things. Z scale is also a Model train hobby just like O,HO,N. Might be smaller but there has been a growing trend in people want Z scale for space! I'm not putting down the Clever model kits They are really nice!
