    Completed the assembly of the N Scale Kits 68' rebar flatcar and painted the shapeways produced loads for the first two cars. Think they look great.

    I see that you painted them in the early scheme. What decals did you use and do you know the build dates on those sheets?

    the rebar is model flex dull grey with an airbrush

    The cars are not yet painted, they will be in the yellow scheme when that gets done

    The cars are a mid 1980's design i believe as i have photos of then from the early 90's

    Great work - thank you for the posting. The cars started to appear in 1983, I understand, from Alan Curtis' original notes. It was Alan's design, and still in production - and selling well at www.nscalekits.com. The rebar works really well on this model - it looks great. I have been asked to work on another style of car for transportinmg steel - more details at the NSE Convention in three week's time.
