No kidding! Okay, so I am going through looking at each flier and there are some hidden gems there like these Dick Simon trucks! (pic from the Trainworx flier) This will be a must have for me. Here's an interesting note for you on how a business can affect change on another business. In the Trainworx artwork, Simon the Skunk is carrying a flag that says Sweet Simon. Prior to that flag, the flag was actually a Jolly Roger pirate flag. Roughly 20 years back, giver or take a year or two, Simon was pushing hard to grow and one thing they wanted was to be in the core carrier fleet for M&M/Mars. Well, Mars really didn't like the idea of associating their product with that image of pirates, so, the Sweet Simon flag was born all in order to help get that contract. Later Simon was bought by Central Refrigerated and then Swift and have long since faded into history. Thank you and now back to your regularly scheduled N scale programming.
I'm in for at least one of the Schneider dry-bulk trailrs, I've waited a long time for one of these. Also a Werner flatbed. Ralph
I'm kind of surprised, Trainworx has announced both JB Hunt and Schneider National IH 9670 cab-overs with matching trailers, but no CRST 9670 with matching trailer??. I know CRST had them, because I drove one while working for CRST. They purchased the IH 9800's with the set back front axle after I had already left for greener pastures Now Trainworx, if you want to get really fancy, how about a few IH Transtar II tractors? I know Schneider National and CRST had those as well
