Here it is, almost the entire year in the making: a Micro-Trains Special Run refrigerator car marking 25 years of the Unofficial Micro-Trains Release Report. Now I can show off a little since I'm in the process of filling all reservations. (A few cars remain available.) This was a lot of fun to design and commission. I still need a better photo, but this will do.

Second... the UMTRR25 car is $30 (about the same as a current release!) plus shipping-- which unfortunately is at the current "holiday adjusted" USPS rates-- Merry Christmas! For ordering details, just PM me here with your e-mail. I'm taking Paypal (but only until Christmas Day--humbug!) and good old fashioned checks in the mail.
Yes, it is nice and IN my era. But it's not HO like the rest of it. My N is in about '60s/'70s. So no ice boxes then.
I would think the desire to have one would be based more on just having one to commemorate the occasion rather than being worried whether or not it would "fit" on any given layout. Doug.
If it dont fit on the layout it's a no go. I have one 'out of era' special run car that I had to make a special place for on the layout. i don't do 'shelf queens'. But thats just me. Like I said...nice car and all...but......................................If someone wants to buy me one for Xmas..............I am sure I could make accommodations for it. .
