I have seen these have arrived and I was just wondering if anyone has had a chance to open theirs up and take a look at it yet? Is standard hood and moulded grabs about the only difference from the Rivet Counter, and what extra appliable details does it have? Just looking at the KCS unit can make one go weak in the knees. It looks really nice in photos on the website. I didn't order one, but I did order a FVM/ScaleTrains ES44 BNSF anniversary unit. Ralph
I got mine. Never had a rivet counter so I don't know what the differences are. Overall very pleased with it.
Thats ok, your Rivet Counter looks fantastic! Amazing how far some companies have taken N scale. Ralph
I guess someone got the red light working above the ditch light on both ends! Kinda hard to see but if you zoom in, you can kinda see it. Probably would want dcc to turn it on and off!
You might be a little mistaken. The 3rd run of the *ET44*s (Tier 4 GEVOs) were the ones that have just come out. The Fox Valley-tooled ScaleTrains ES44s (Standard GEVOs) won't be out until August. @SD75I posted pics of the ET44.
Sorry for the confusion, I should have explained it better. I skipped over the ET44 Operator in favor of the FVM GEVo coming out later. I was just wondering what I missed. I was also wondering what all came with the Operator to be applied, but checking the ST website today I seen photos of the plow, MU cables, and uncoupler levers. I hadn't seen those photos before. I knew the FVM was coming later and I was to have a long wait yet. But I think there are still a few Operators left. Ralph
