I hope so. These braces i can't hardly pick up a pair of needle noses. I can't even use a micro screwdriver. The layout is covered so its gonna be ok.I got all the cars and engines pulled from the track and am having Deb put them in the proper boxes. I unplugged the panel and so its dead. Deb is also helping me to put the tools away. I might be able to see a clean desk..something that hasn't been, since i started this layout. Its gonna be a couple of weeks till i can do anything without the braces on, maybe longer, don't know. Will let you know when i start up the layout again. Smoke

Know that has to be frustrating but take it easy and make sure you heal up good. Its worth the extra time to heal up right.

Just a little update. Braces are not helping and actually have caused more pain but its a different kind of pain. I did get the turnouts installed for the front-side. That is 3 #6 left turnouts installed. I am pretty sure i have the opening for the tunnels on the right bank figured out. Gonna make a secret door and it will let me access the three left turnouts. one of them is reversed for the bypass to the passenger station. Anyway, have a few shots of this and i hope i can do more and feel better, I think he is talking shots... Joy!!

The only thing to do while waiting is order parts. I got the LH #6 turnouts no real issue. The RH #6 turnouts..not that easy. Maybe this is a good thing as i am not ready for putting the new addition together. I am wearing the braces and it looks like that isn't really doing what i need. My left brace actually cut the fold of skin between the thumb and forefinger. Don't ask, i have no idea how i got that. I take the braces off at night as the dr said to do. Go figure...
I am having fun finding the stuff i need for the layout, but i will get it. Don't understand why they are getting so rare. The right hand is almost non existent and the lefts i was with a lot of hunting able to find what i needed. Those RH #6 are a missing issue. I found one in Japan but thats all. so i need one more RH #6 for the layout. The track itself is not much of a issue. So i can finish that while trying to find one more turnout. Anyway thats the latest and so stay well and have fun. Laters all
