This weekend has the usual biweekly shopping excursion and a few household things. If the mild weather holds I may get a chance to paint the primer coat on the kitchen walls. My modeling plans if I can get to them will include doing some work on the farm house for the Farm House Diorama. I also have the two new B&O Atlas RS-1 locos to test. Then there is the pile of covered hoppers, hoppers, and others waiting to be weathered.
Our club sets up the NTRAK layout for a two weekend stand at the Rosenberg Railroad Museum as part of the anual Houston Layout Tour. So looks like I won't get much modeling in, just running trains and talking to the public. But that is what we do all the modeling for in the first place. "It's Show Time."
Building "duckwalks" ??? on bridges and rerailers on bridges. Learning Paintshop Pro X and new camera operations. No golf, too many leaves, too darned cold.
I've got 5 more blocks to wire and the major construction for the lower level is done. Then I want to get it painted some anonymous color. Then ground throws, test and tweak, test and tweak,
Don't know yet. My travel schedule is in shambles. I expect the now-becoming-typical late Friday email, asking for stuff on Monday. I may build a ship.
Well, it looks like I will finish the utility/laundry room(aka 'Madison Staging'). I still have to move the hot/cold water to the other wall and get that dryer vent hole cut...then on to the 'serious' stuff like lay some more track! Jim Bernier
I'm finishing a lasercut building kit. I also have to put decoders in 3 sets of IM FT ABBA units. The shell of the "A" unit isn't the easiest to remove. I'll also install MT # 1015 couplers where needed. ( nose of "A' units) I'll also play around with the Heligon Software. Stay cool and run steam....
Oh yeah, sure, show up AFTER I leave..... Seriously, I hope you have a great time up in the Capitol City. Get Hemi to take ya out on Sherman Hill- he showed me some awesome sites to shoot from.

Hans is going to take us to some of his favorite train shooting spots. We are spending the night with him at his mothers house in northern colorado saturday night after Gats, I only hope I do not get to hopped up on wine saturday night to enjoy the trains sunday morning. I hope Hemi shows up on saturday so I can meet him at GATS. I've met Geo quite a few times though he never remembered who I was. I've also met Keith. I'll be trailing around the place with Colorado50 and a non trainboard buddy who some of you may remember from the Adventures in Willowby Videos back in the 80's. My buddy Larry did a great deal of the model work on that O scale layout and even has many of those models sitting in his living room these days. As I said before, look for Arlo. lol
working all weekend..... might have a look at a few things tonight, like trying to fit a Walthers container into a Deluxe Innovations Husky 5-pack
Reconnect the power supply to the layout after it's move to the loft. Paint the sky backdrop boards, maybe even run a train
