Wow... That is another good-looking engine, even if the first thing it made me think of was a Coke bottle. I really thought they'd do something with green and yellow, but this is better. Speaking of which, does anyone notice something common to these three schemes? They all have the front a different color from the back. Not a standard element in paint scheme design, but it looks good if the separation is good. (MP-good, MKT-good, WP-bad.) In fact, if I ever have occasion to design a freelance diesel color scheme, I'll probably use the MP and MKT heritage units for inspiration.
Very nicely done! Has the Sloan-era lettering for the road name, to boot! I only hope that the red UP uses is more resitant to fading than the red Katy used- after several years in the hot Texas sun, red tends to fade out. Still, an excellent job!
