    Ron-

Are you familiar with navigating their web site? I poked around some. Was hoping to find a possible page for consignments or similar. Have I overlooked something?

</font>[/QUOTE]Their web page only scratches the surface of what hides in the corners of that store. Ron, the owner is a damm nice guy, send him a email or call him, the Phone Number is under "Contact Us". The milw caboose is shoulder high, facing the cash register, in the square glass case towards the back of the store. Maybe he could email you a picture. He also has several N Scale Milw. engines in stock, including a GP30.

    Jim,
    Any idea where the 509, 510, & 511 were working (maint. base) in 1966? How about the 520, 521, 522, & 523?

    Ron-

Thanks for the caboose info. I'll go back to their web page, and find that e-mail address.

If Jim doesn't have 1966, I have info from 1965, and 1967. If that would help?

511 spent a fair portion of it's career working on the Everett Line.

Well I just got my first Rib Side Car, 40' Long Rib Hiawatha Box Car, all I can say is WOW!!!!!, what a class act George has put together. Other than the molded on grabs, it's damm near perfect. I wish I had time to jump right in to build it. I could take pictures and post a parts break down though, if anyone is interested. I will be calling several local shops to say "Stock these", I might even build this one up and show it around.

Turn around time from McMinnville Oregon, to Bensenville Ill. and back, less than a week with a personal check.

I'll be buying a lot of these.

They sure are pretty arn't they! I have the Hiawatha and Olympian cars, going to order the billboard car next week. I haven't put any together yet but I keep looking at the parts. Also I think there is an artical in Model Railroader this month about them, but I'm not sure. Just had a chance to glance at one for a second. [IMG]

as far as price goes..I found several adds in my new magazine collection..NPP BRASS..4 car sets $94...including one amazing tail car..with all the fins!!!!!..that car alone is over $1000 today..and the only one I've seen looks like crap...I wonder if we could find someone to make the tail cars complete with fins, affordably?
