Do you guys have some recommendations as to where to look for brass N scale models? I know thats probably like divulging your favorite fishing hole. I have been looking for a Key PRR J1 for the longest time. If anyone has had a sighting, let me know. I regularly check The Caboose, Caboose Hobbies, Uncle Daves, and BPL. I have not seen any UP FEFs anywhere but on the auction site.

The Train Shop in Santa Clara has a few n-scale brass items, I didn't see a PRR J1. A good idea may be to look through the MRR hobby shop index and make a few calls. Some of the larger shops specializing only in trains may be able to help. Chans of SF and there is a shop in Sacramento that may have some. I haven't been to many train shops that carry a large assortment of brass like many did in the past. Who know's, you may get lucky and find that item that has been sitting on the shelf long enough that the hobby dealer my give you a discount.
