Nasty stuff... thanks for posting. I probably missed an earlier thread where what happened here was explained? Charlie
Thanks for posting the pics, the crew are very lucky to have survived. Charlie, Here is a link to the actual topic BNSF5942
The new rumor at work is the crew died but the company is lying to us all cause they want to show us the movie from the incident. Most of us do not belive it but there are those that will always belive the oppisit of what managment tells us. Kevin
Wow.. That's some mess!!! One wonders, if the crewman did jump, if he would have survived the aftermath?
The cab picture was the most scarry, amazing the crew got out with only stiches. I have never seen a wreck like that one before. Thanks for sharing Biggs. Jim
oh5qn:oh5qn:oh5qn:oh5qn: Ugly. Just plain ugly. Amazing how much energy is in coal, even if it's just rolling along. Thanks for the follow up pics!
I personally know the crew and they did NOT die in this wreck. The engineer was promoted about 1 1/2 ago and he was forced to Wichita Falls to work. The conductor was an old head that my dad has known for 30 years. That rumor is diffently false.
