Just wondering. If so give me your thoughts. I used it in N scale a couple of years ago. Seem liked nice quality stuff, but not much to compare it to as it's the only thing I ever used, and for a very short time. Looks like the HO line of unitrack is considerably smaller than the N line. I ordered the Kato "BASIC" Unitrack set. Don't have a plan etched in stone yet. Curious what your experience has been with the various HO Unitrack turnouts. I see they have a manual that can be upgraded to powered, and 2 or 3 other powered versions. Any to be leary of?

    Thanks,

    Eric,
I'm getting out of HO and going back to N (due to space constraints). I didn't have a layout but I did set up a little switching area and I also set up a 4x16' layout for a show that gave local kids an intro to trains. Right now have a circle of unitrack under the tree with an On3 engine and cars.

I think Unitrack is one of the best track products out there. It doesn't look perfect but it does give a decent representation of track. I have never had a truck or engine derail or split a switch with the unitrack. My kids play with the train under the tree prob. 2 hours a day and have yet to have a derailment from the track, notice I said from the track:). Unitrack is limited in HO but if you work within the limitations of the HO line you will not be sorry. It also gives you a very easy way to rearrange your layout without tearing everything up.

    Good luck

    Lucas

PS if you are interested in some HO unitrack PM me

Thanks Lucas! My HO unitrack arrived last night from M.B. woo woo woo. I'm very pleased with it. I don't have any friends or family that come over to my house that no about trains. They don't know it's not excellent looking track (infact they will think it is), and I won't tell them, LOL! :)
