So first off, why not more video? Come on, everyone has video cameras these days! Take some video! Second off, let's talk about video sharing. I recently took a video I posted here, I put it on youtube to share. But the quality is not so good. It's shot with a HD (1080i) camcorder, so I was looking for better options. I found blip.tv from some reviews. Both versions are linked below. Can you download the higher resolution (blip.tv) in a reasonable time? Is the quality improvement worth the effort? Would you like to see higher quality (blip.tv is about 1/2 HD, heavily compressed)? Why don't more people post video? Will be doing more Video posting over time myself...
I've already made quite a few videos. Look at my videos at YouTube or at my homepage. There's a higher resolution. But I've no video camera, only a Canon Power Shot A640. Wolfgang
Well, I don't have a video camera. Years ago, we had a VHS. It was really nice. But just didn't get it out. Instead, always used the SLR. So, we sold it. Boxcab E50
I see your coal train and raise you. Shot this one a couple of weeks ago back where I grew up--handheld digital camera, not an actual video camera, so apologies for the quality: [ame="http://youtube.com/watch?v=x9cQ1KeRrig"]YouTube - CSX Unit Coal Train in Kentucky[/ame]

Ah yes, brings back memories. Last year at this time we were just making our plans and reservations for our trip to the Copper Canyon. Ed .
Won't be me. I just started fooling around with the video option on my canon, so the only other video I have is a nine second clip of a 2-10-2 on a flat car being moved into the yard.
