    Hello Everyone--

I am seeking a Roundhouse EMD demonstrator Critter switcher, preferably new and DCC ready, but will consider any in "like" new condition. I would appreciate any assistance as I want to get it for an upcoming birthday gift. BTW: I also placed an ad in the market place forum.

    Thanks,

    Steve

Surprisingly well wolfgang, obviously because of its short wheelbase you wouldnt want to run it thru too many switches but i gave it a run on a friends layout in ohio and she ran very smooth and almost silently. Its a shame they seem to be produced in such small numbers!

    Any luck on this?

    Steve,
Wondered if you've had any luck finding one.
Found this at Internet Hobbies, the 'add to cart' button usually means they have one in stock.

    Steve,

Don't know where you're living but Travel Town, located in Griffith Park, Los Angeles, had a few and I bought mine there. In addition, they also have one of the Critters in their museum collection. Built in 1941, it was donated to the museum in 1988. Type in Travel Town in the search engine and you should come up with something. I remember seeing quite a few on the shelf and I seriously doubt whether people were running over there to buy one. When I got mine, the store was quiet. Good luck..

    Larry
