I'm a little behind this week. i had to go to a home layout tour which is my only good excuse. Hard selection this time as the same individuals had several good photos and I only select one photo from each individual. In any case, just click on the photo to see that member's RailImages album.

It's all diesels this week. About two weeks ago I thought it was going to be all steam. You never know what will be on POTW.

Hey Flash, thanks for picking one of my pictures. That unit, 3054 is a Decatur Junction GP20, ex TP&W, ex Santa Fe. You can read more about it and the Decatur Junction on my Blog.

What is the one behind it? Spark arrestors and no dynamic brakes. Actually, I had missed that the first one was a GP20. I'll check your blog.

I'm glad to see you and mikado are up early with me.

Thanks Flash for picking my CN picture.

Just a side note I did not realize it until I got back, but if you look at the front of the Locomotive you will see a broom in the grab irons. I guess they use the broom to keep the front porch clear of snow!!!

Really good stuff this week! I really like the shot of the CR SD's. I have a soft spot for the newer emds- probably because I rarely see them. Mikado's shot of the L&N U boats really makes me miss the Old Reliable.
