Oooooooo......awsome potential! As a side note, I liked the last "how-to" that you posted. It went over pretty well here on Trainboard and I would suggest doing that again with this project.

The prototype was from the Erie RR and built in the 20's. It lasted well into the latter part of the century.
Looks familiiar. Wasn't there an article in MR about this same or similiar transfer crane a couple of years back?
