    Dear Friends

I had the chance to visit the biggest Train Museum in France, the Cité du Train in Mulhouse. It's less then 2 hour drive from where I live and of course I had my Family with me. Please enjoy the story.

Very nice trip report. I have been to the National Railway Museum in York, England. Until now, that has always been my favorite railway museum. It appears that the French Museum is equally good. I will try to make a trip here next time I visit Europe.

Jurg, that one awesome museum. The setting for the trains is what makes it so special. It makes feel what its like to travel by train in those days. Also, a family that plays together, stays together, and it looks like the whole family had fun.

Nice trip Jurg! Thanks for sharing. I wish you had taken lots more pictures of the rotary snow plow, I want to model one. :D

I don't know much about trains, but curiosity here. Near the end of the photos is an interior view. What is the device that looks like a steering wheel?
