I was poking around on Trainboard in places I normally don't go and found that there is a Private Message area and Friends section. Since there are messages dating back from 2002 I obviously missed them... and apologize to those that tried to contact me directly and didn't get a response. Due to my personal and professional interests and activities I get around 200 emails a day. I visit the Atlas Forum and Trainboard every once in a while and lurk on threads that interest me and dive in, dragging my soapbox, all too often. Every once in a while I have to use my computer to do client work (actually, with my two screen setup I do a little multi-tasking while waiting for files to download or update). I do have to limit my online time but that doesn't extend to ignoring emails.... but I do have to limit them to ones I get directly and don't have to look in nooks and crannies to retrieve. Oops.... We have a bunch of places that many people don't explore, or have not yet discovered. And with recent changes, have added a few more. Including Groups... Boxcab E50
Sometimes being too complex is not a good thing .. many people still have their VCR blinking 00:00 to them ..
I think that billion dollar cyber check that I sent you had a thirty day exporation date. Sorry Charlie.*G*
I absolutely agree - there are way too many different 'sites' on trainboard. I recently posted a question re the Walthers turntable in what I thought was the N scale general section where most N Scalers come first. It got moved to the DCC section where I would guess it only got a tenth or way less readings. I like the A board, not too many places to visit. Al
