Hi, I'm totally cluesless on this. Let me explain, someone gave me a new bright G scale holiday train. This unit was purchased in 2000. I went to put it together last year & it worked, but many of the track ends (plastic) were breaking apart. I decided to move it, I put it all together & now it won't work, I don't know if its the track or what they call the track clip, or the controller. I'm assuming it isn't the transformer cause I'm getting power to the controller. Since the track can no longer be purchased thru New Bright, I was told by someone that was selling parts for trains on Ebay that I can run this train on any G scale brass track. If any one has any input on this it would be greatly appreciated.

I move your question from the Support forum here so it might get better visability from those that also enjoy this scale.

I have one of those that I purchased years ago and added to it each year when they came out with a new car at Christmas....I ran it on Aristo track in my front yard at Christmas time in my Christmas display.....You would have to make a jumper to go from the controler to the aristo track if my memory serves me right.....:tb-biggrin:
