    Welcome to TrainBoard!

You might try searching the N Scale Forum topic archives. I seem to recall discussion of that layouts whereabouts.

According to the article he wrote for the Nov-Dec 2008 issue of N Scale Railroading David Fugate is the current owner and the layout is in Virginia.

Funny how things work out, I also aquired a completed clinchfield layout from a friend out here in Oz.

    Cool! :)

I still have a ways to go before this one will be "complete". I'll have to post some update pics soon.

Do you have any photos of yours? :D

We also have a partly finished one at the Ipswich club up here in QLD, given to us by a friend of some of the N scalers. We are planning to start work to get it running this year after a few other things have pushed it back in the priority list, it had been stored under his house for 12 years so it needs a bit of work.

I think I've posted these on another thread but here's some photos to get the rest of you started. They were taken just after we got the layout and I had gotten the section standing on legs running before things came to a halt. Before we go any further we plan to replace the rather spindly original legs with surplus ones off N-TRAK modules to enable each section to stand on it's own. As you can see, he has done some of the scenery a bit different from Model Railroader's version including opening out the loops on one end a bit more, the other end where the power station should be, we are planning on returning to the original appearance.
