I just made a little scene with Woodland scenics hobos and an l.e.d. tea light candle. The candle light flichers like a flame and is only $2. Not $25 for a flicker circut found elsewhere.

    Daylight.....

That's funny, I see the word cheap, and this is the first thread I click on. Wonder why that is? Really nice idea. Thanks.

i kinda did the same thing with mine. the only difference is i did not use an LED. i used a grain of wheat light and added some red, orange, and yellow to the bulb. the only thing is mine does not flicker. i like your idea, think i may order one and see what i can do with it. thanks for the info.

My wife bought them. I think she said Walgreens or Walmart. Very inexpensive way to make fire. It will work for HO too. I'm working on lighting a building on fire with them.

I actually shaped the head of the led . I used my moto tool. It has a lot of resin material you can cut/shape on the top of them.

That's another one of those "Why didn't I think of that" numbers. It's a great idea; one that got me thinking of ways to use them as well. Thanks TJS909....
