Man, those are SWEET! That is by far the best looking paint applied to any "modern" Class 1 passenger equipment. They are beuties in person.
I'm surprised Flash didn't jump all over this one! N Scale Lowering Intermountain F7 Carbody and Coupler Height Adjustment - Sizemore - TrainBoard.com The S.
Great job Scott. I am still waiting on the NS to give the Wabash and N&W some recognition. I will do those units in Nscale then.
Those are fantastic.... last year I was driving into Chicago through a construction zone and to my shock and delight those very locomotives passed right by me..... I didn't do quite as well with the executive passenger consist shots.......... Ok; so you try and shoot a picture while navigating Chicago construction traffic..... You've done a first class job Scott.
Scott just seen the real A-B-B-A set on the President's Special from Portsmouth, OH to Bellevue, OH today and just saw your post and they look absolutely outstanding to say the least! Great job and thanks for sharing! Dave
Because the scheme is based on an old one designed for the units, not a modern paint scheme mangled to fit by some high paid graphics designer who wouldn't know an F unit if it ran over him. Nice paint job. If they are Intermountain units you could try Unimate couplers for closer coupling.
