Found this on my way to work today. Have no idea why it was on this little branch line in Goodyear AZ the line has been under talks to reconnect to the southern UP main line so that trains do not have to back track when coming and leaving Phoenix...maybe they were checking out progress. Let me know if anyone has any info.
Are there any big sporting events taking place in the area? I have a relative by marriage who is in a position to know, and that UP train seems to be needed somewhere when there is something like the Superbowl happening.
No sporting events in the area that I know of....the only thing in that area is Phoenix International Raceway but they are not showing anything for this weekend.
the lights were on the west bound engine and people were walking round inside...not many but I did see a couple.
