Division 3, Mid Central Region, NMRA will be hosting their annual train show tomorrow and Sunday at Hara Arena. Show information can be found on their website here. http://www.daytontrainshow.com/ I will be helping at the DLH Locomotive works tables located near the concession stand area. If any one goes to the show, please stop by and introduce yourselves. I was able to meet Skipgear at the show in Cincinnati a couple of weeks ago, and would like to meet more Trainboarders. Hope to see you there.
This is one of the best shows bar none in the midwest. If you get a chance to get out you'll meet a bunch of super guys and gals and the goods on the tables can be of particular interest. I know you'll have fun and darn I get to miss it.
Unfortunately, I didn't have anyone introduce themselves over the weekend. Still enjoyed myself though. Bought a few things to help me do the Railroading Merit Badge for the Boy Scouts.
How was the show? I didn't get a chance to go. My wife came down with the flu Friday while with our son on a school field trip. By 6PM that night the doctor had her on Tamaflu and the fever had broken by Saturday morning. She recovered the rest of the weekend and I stayed home to tend to her, well mainly I entertained our son to keep him out of her hair. I'm going to try to make plans to go to the Springfield show in December.
Nothing says you can't come Jerry! :tb-biggrin: Springfield show is Dec. 6th at the Clark County Fairgrounds located just off Interstate 70 at exit 59. I've heard they have approx. 320 vendor tables sold. Hope to see you there Tony.
Well dang. I made it to the show with the wife and kids on sunday. Always look forward to it every year. Pickup up some N scale rolling stock at a good price. Cant beat 11 cars for $8!
