I have been a member on here for awhile and never posted pics,so tonite i figured i would give it a whirl.I am a terrible photographer so please excuse the pics. These are various pics of my "N" Empire....I will add more as i go! now i need to get back to making my 4,000 trees
Yayy! you finally got some pictures up!! Awesome... now get back to makin 4,000 trees. later!
Hey, wait a minute. I recognize some of the places here. I see Slateford Jct, Kerosene Falls, “The Curve” and more. It is almost like I have put a train or two on the ground here.
Looking good so far! I anticipate the forest. suggestion: more lighting, tripod for the camera, no flash.
Here are a couple more pics, the first one is my RR museum i am kitbashing, the second is my freight terminal at the end of my intermodal yard that i hacked together from a couple kits. And lastly is a pic of the mountain at "the curve" that will be covered in trees(someday) Thanks for looking....
Wow...nice job! Really love the museum idea....very cool. Keep the progress shots coming! A cheaper way to cover the mountain quickly would be with 'tuffs'.
Can you expand on this? I plan on modeling a track running through a vast ranch that has just a few Oaks here and there, but has a lot of green and golden grasses. Sounds like you explained what I want to end up with.
I also have a rail museum on my layout (presently undergoing revision). You might consider some of the Del Prado models to display...a lot cheaper than motorized models in a static display. I have some extra Del Prados...PM me. A "museum" also "permits" excursion trains of any era. Take a look at the California Rail Museum pages and especially at the British National Rail Museum for additional ideas. My museum will become a museum of transportation after expansion.
