Hi all, Please visit the following link to see the December 2009 new product arrivals from DeLuxe Innovations: http://www.deluxeinnovations.com/newarrivals.html This is a quickie temporaty page. There is an Order Form listing all the items that came in and a zip file with photos of everything. I'll get the regular arrivals page up as soon as possible. It will have the same URL.
Ah - a good haul this month! And just in time for Christmas (close enough anyway). I've just been weathering some woodchip cars and thinking I'm just about ready for more, so this is good timing. The NOKL Maxi-III and the new reefers will be welcome too. Cheers, Gary P.S. Here's one of them almost back on it wheels: I love these big gons.
Very nice Dave, but where are those Canadian Tire containers I preordered in March 2008, that's almost 2 years ago?
Ram53, The problem started with the 53' corrugated container mold - it needed some repair work. That took way longer than it should have. Then there was the detail level of the artwork. It would have been too expensive as one 2-pack so PWRS commissioned a second to help defray the cost. Now it's a production scheduling thing, and we all know how that has been going lately. Hang in there, I have asked the factory to give the Canadian Tire run top priority. Dave
The Canadian Tire containers are an exclusive to PWRS so you can only order them through their website.
It is nice to have the 20' reefer containers available, as they will add some more variety and colorful schemes too. Maybe we will see a 20' container chassis in 2010 ? Steven
Thanks for keeping us informed, Dave. I'm really looking forward to those, as well as a rerun of China Shipping.
I'll add a vote for a 5-pack of China Shipping in jade green, please. BTW, do Canadian Tire cans ever make it into the states? They're cool containers, but I don't think I've ever seen one in person down here.
I don't know for sure but I'm guessing no. The reason is they are domestic containers that have been repacked here in Vancouver with various goods from other containers to be sent to the Canadian Tire stores. But it might be possible if they get packed down in Seattle or something sometimes.
Canadian Tire Containers I have 7 sets ordered from PWRS. My order still shows a September 2009 delivery date. Thanks to Dave for the update. I hope PWRS reads this and updates their delivery schedule. LOL
I feel your pain. I have 12 sets on order between the first release and second and still would like to have these running around soon. But can understand why they are behind and can wait for a great product not some subpar item.
I feel your pain too, I'd love to be able to deliver them! Thanks for your patience, they will be worth it. Dave
The "regular" Arrivals page is up now. Same information in a better presentation. http://www.deluxeinnovations.com/newarrivals.html Dave
