   you guys think the rerelease of the kato f40s will fit a lifelike shell? i hate to start over and remod a kato shell after all the work i did on the LL one

   I don't see why it wouldn't. There is a very slight draft angle inside the shell, and you may have to get rid of the 8 ribs inside that were used to set the height of the original frame.
