    Nice.

    What speaker are you using?

    Hi John,
This one has a .62" round with a modified stock weight bar in the tender. I also used the Soundtraxx small oval. Not much difference in the sound, however. I did tweak the equalizer in the decoder a bit.

Did you alter the side rod sync for the loco? Most I've seen have the rods in sync, like mine. Very nice, sounds good.

Mine came from the factory with the engines "offset" just like in this video.

    Thanks Guys.
The sync of the engines is as delivered from Intermountain. This loco does have about 5 hours of run time on it. The more you run the loco the better its performance I have found.

Hi Vince, good to see you here on Trainboard.

Do you use an enclosure for the speaker?

Is this the basic medium steam file or is it specific to this loco?

Do you have a downloadable file of your CV settings for users to copy? Or a Decoderpro file?

I appreciated greatly you including all the settings with the unit I purchased from you. In fact I shared those settings with others and created a vary happy group.

Just so the group knows I purchsed a ready to go N scale programed GS4 Daylight from Vince, and am very happy with it.

Looks and sounds great. Also, it looks like you got rid of those awful yellow lights. At least they didn't appear to be yellow in the video.

Well the camera got rid of the yellow headlight. I have not had the time to pull the boiler and cab apart to change the LEDs. The Soundtraxx Tsunami is preloaded with the Cab Forward sounds and does not have the ability to add sounds. It does have several different whistles and an equalizer that can alter the sound pitch. I don't find much difference in using a sound chamber in this loco. I do alter the weight so that the speaker becomes part of the tender floor and weight above it. This seems to work out well with sound output and clarity reasonable for the speaker size.

I don’t have a downloadable file for the loco. I program each one with my base config and make minor adjustments to the base CV list. Each one of the over 35 that I have done so far has different running characteristics. This loco needs fine tuning of the chuff rate as the speed changes with use.
