Are these reefers only found in unit trains with the same type of car? Or do they also run with other kinds of reefers?
They are not a unit-train only car. They are just well-known for that operation. I routinely see them in cuts of two or three alone, or with other reefers, in NS manifests out of Roanoke, VA
No wonder, a big, white flat canvass. They might as well put on a sign saying "Come and paint me".:tb-biggrin:
Then just claim you're modeling 2006 as that was about the only time there are photos without graffiti. Otherwise it is almost impossible to find a single prototype photo without graffiti.
