Anybody know where I can find a stencil on the web of a rr crossing warning so I can paint it in white on my roads? I would print it, and cut it out, then tape it to the road and paint.
I have got mine some years ago from Walters. Sorry, I do not remember any further details of the order I did at that time.
Federal sign and pavement marking standards are publicly available through the MUTCD, Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. This detail from the MUTCD can provide most of the dimensions you'll need to create your own stencil.
Hey the one RE posted is the one I have. It must have been just cut n pasted it to make a copy. What I do, and was told from who I got it from, was to print it on cardstock, cut it out with a new blade in the xacto, and lightly airbrush it on. Touch up with a light handed brush. It works great.
