I need the Walthers part numbers for Heritage Proto 2000 Virginian 2-8-8-2 Bell, Window (firman's side if matters) and smoke stack. I picked one up second hand and beat to heck, no owners manual or paperwork with it. Can anyone help me.
I have the N&W version at home and will look at the part # sheet when I get home from work tonight. Other possibilites are brass castings, there are nice bells and smoke stacks available, just check the walthers and do a super-details part search. The window will most likely have to come from Proto. -TR
Ok, looking at the parts diagram: bell: 3 parts: base #5, bell arm #6, bell #404 window: 2 parts. main window casing (incl rear cab window,)#133. Single pane window#134 smokestack:no part number listed, but I believe there was a taller stack supplied with the loco. Looking at Walthers the following parts could work for you: bell: Precision Scale 585-31601 stack: possible matdh Precision Scale: 585-31452 Good Luck! -TR
