When ya see him around...say HI...he just signed up. He is my best friend up here on T.H.E Mountain. I guess he and his pretty wife just got tired of me always talkin N Scale trains :tb-wink: and decided it was time they got in gear...LOL. They are into old time steamers...but dont hold that against em...:tb-biggrin: .

Possibly Jack....He owned an upholstery shop till he recently retired. Shop was over by the Amerigas propane store...just off the main highway :tb-wink:. Nooooo...not Jose's...LOL .
When DC get's used to us he just might want to share who he really is. Till then anonymity will suit us fine. George, is the snow and ice finally melting off in Show Low, AZ? Specifically, T.H.E. Train Trailer? The snow here in the Big Bear Lake, down in the valley is pretty much gone. It is still cold enough at nights to blow snow on the mountain peaks. Great for snowboarders and skiers. The bonus to this warmer weather is it's warm enough to get out into my train shed. DC, jump in anytime. We'd love to hear from you.
Welcome DC I started in N with an Amtrak E8 my son bought. I still love that Amtrak stuff, but Steam is the best. Electrics, I actually like them too... Ok, you can't go wrong playing with trains.
Snow is almost all gone. Only place is in the shadows. The roof of T.H.E. Train Trailer is finally dry. The ceiling inside however is a disaster :tb-sad:. Good thing I know how to sheetrock...LOL. I have the heater running in there now. Hope it helps to dry that ceiling. I may actually get to run some trains today...tomorrow at the latest. I got some new (to me anyways) trains from an awesome friend :tb-wink:to go run. T.H.E Wife is giving me the evil eye cause she cant go run her trains yet...hehehehehe :tb-err::tb-ooh: .
I have created a M O N S T E R !!!! DC1701 is coming over to borrow: a board to put track on flex track to put on the board saw to cut flex (shhhhhh...no need to tell him he can use cutters...lol) A power pack a locomotive some cars and whatever else he can finagle for now...LMAO .
That's the way we all started. Oval of track and train with a caboose and those infamous brick power packs.
