After a really busy week on the road, I wanted to thank Scott Stutzman for pinch-hitting for me on short notice last week. He did a great job! A bunch of great stuff this week, it was hard to choose! COverton starts us out with a Duplex at Speed: Riog66 is up next with a pair of backdated, totally redone Kato SD45s: Docker2524 shares a Z scale module--the campers in the tents below the trestle will not be sleeping tonight! Marty Coil shows off a Milwaukee Road Rib Side 'Veneer car':
Cont'd: Mark Watson has been busy Scratchbuilding Virginia & Truckee Hay Boxcar 1011: Pete D did a great job with the Big Jack: UP DD40X Finished (Mods, details and weathering) Now, he needs another, and Fast Forty to sandwich in between! Wolfgang Dudler is last but not least, with a beautiful scene called Spotting a gon: See you next week!
Thanks, Hemi. I like Wolfgang's, and said so in the WPF thread, and the DDX photo is really good....really good. They are all good, Marty's boxcar, the Kato weathering work, Docker's Z scale gorge with spectacular bridge, well done everyone.
I want to know something. The guy at the back of the gon is guiding the gon back. But what is the guy (on the right) between the pallet of lumber and plumbing/vent shafts doing?
The photographer had impeccable timing, "Darn high pitched flange noise startled me, wonder if I should look to see if I got my boots." :tb-wink:
Great detail, Marty Coil! Weathering is outstanding. I always enjoy your models you post here on TB.
