zephyr cars in san francisco [sorry couldnt change my thread title] so sitting the back of the san francisco center for the book are 2 railcars, what i think are zephyrs sfcb - Google Maps .i assume the building itself used to be a railroad operated one too and that these cars are privately owned. they must have been sandwiched in here a long time ago before surrounding rails were paved over. says amtrak on that tank. railroad history is so fascinating. even seeing the diagonal streets in san francisco on google maps makes me want to really explore the area looks like someone checked this car out before too Core77.com View topic - Shameless Train Appreciation Thread i have been keeping a running photo list of all the cool old railroad stuff i find wherever i go. these are some from san francisco. makes me want to time travel back and see what it looked like here back then.
