Who makes the best/inexpensive unit???? and the best place to order them.. I live in the middle of nowhere!!!!! I am running a medium N scale layout (Unitrack) with a MRC prodigy express. Two locos right now. SD70M Kato with MRC sound decoder, SD24 atlas with MRC sound decoder. I have heard that the digitrax AR1 does not work with sound?? I am going to add one more loco a GP15 for my yard. I have two legs isolated so I'll have to run two units. Any input????
No Best that I know of. Only what works Best for you. Our club uses two MRC reversers. We hooked them up according to the instructions. Rich
I have 5 AR1 on my layout and no problem with the Bigboy and Challenger with sound. I use NCE system.
I use two AR-1 units on my layout and have several sound locomotives (diesel and steam); no problems at all.
