How many plan on attending the Ohio N Scale Weekend next Saturday and Sunday? http://www.centralohiontrak.org/events/weekend/2011/Ohio%20N-Scale%20Weekend%20Participant%20Form.pdf I plan on attending Saturday if any of the forum members care to meet .
I'll be there Fri, Sat am only, and Sun. I'll be at the registration tables most likely. Be sure to look for me there. Also, if you wish to run something be sure to bring a train as our layout is open, as well as others. Look forward to meeting you all.
All Three Days Will be there all three days and then some. This type of show is what VACATION DAYS are meant for!! Missed last year, but was there in 2009. Hoping for another good show.
I have friends that want me to go--what is it--just a N scale show? is there anything special about it?
Read The Description Go to the website mentioned in brakie's post. As the website says, it is a show for N-Scalers put on by N-Scalers.
So, how are we gonna recognize each other? Should we wear silly ties or, OOPs ,sorry we already do this anyway!!!!Mike
Our club [(I)TRAINtrak(I)] will be there but I will not. Just moved into a new house and have to get the old one ready to sell. Our club will have a minimal presence as we have no way to tow our trailer with all our stuff. So we have a 5 X14 Carmate trailer for sale if anyone is interested.
brakie, only "train show" I've ever attended was the recent one here in Bucyrus, were I got my first N scale cars and two locos..would like to hit this one but with gas prices my ole Dodge truck just can't do it. (7 mpg on a good day) If you were to have a free seat open I'd be more than happy to toss in on gas and pay for all the coffee, soda pop, and food on the way, while there, and return trip. Where I come from a stranger is a friend ya ain't met yet. Just a thought sir. John
I have to work every weekend. It was either take off this weekend or next for the Dayton Hamvention. The Hamvention won. We meet at noon Friday and Saturday up behind the Icom booth in the stands. Jim WA8SDF
NAME TAG I'll be there. Put on a separate name tag with TRAINBOARD on it. Your handle could also be on said name tag. Getting stuff together as I type.
you guys are sooooooo lucky!!!! The last "train weekend" was when the NMRA held its Natl Convention down here in 2002. Since then it is just a few hours at a time at a swap meet. Again, you guys are soooooooo lucky!!!! Wish I lived up there this time of years, I would be sure to go....... Ken "FloridaBoy" Willaman
Ken,Time was we never had a all N Scale show untill the gang at Central Ohio N-Tak came forth and duplicated the Pennsylvania N Scale show. I do thank them and appreciate the dedication and effort they put forth in this show.
