Red Caboose Autoracks and BLMA 100 Ton Trucks

    I have found some Red Caboose Autoracks for sale that come without trucks. Would the BMLA 100 ton trucks be appropriate for these cars? If so, has anyone tried them to see if they work or not? Thanks for the help.

    I wanna say 70-ton trucks. with 28" wheels, IIRC.
    Someone please confirm?

    And a body mount 2003 from memory....

    The BLMA truck might need a washer too.

    You're right about the 28" (and the 70-ton trucks too, 2 coil springs on the outside) wheels but does anyone make those in N?

    70 ton trucks with the stock 33" wheels are correct. Bi levels don't use 28" wheels.

    Yes, FVM does. As previously mentioned though, 28" wheels only on tri-level low deck flats (ie, the ones with the cut-outs in the deck above the truck).

    For autoracks I use 1019s with the truck swing tabs cut off.
