An N scale layout featuring the S.P as if it was still around today. http://tropicalnscale.blogspot.com/
Multi-level layouts are cool and a big endeavor. I'll be curious to see your actual trackplan for both levels. Lestico's layout is certainly a great example to follow! Keep us up to date w/ this thread! Smooth rails!
Thanks for the encouragement I have a bit of a plan in my head but am not the greatest designer on paper and it changes every time I complete a bit more of the bench work. http://tropicalnscale.blogspot.com/
Have done a bit more work on the layout can catch an update here. http://tropicalnscale.blogspot.com/
Stinkin' fun filter here at the office won't let me see it. Care to upload some photos on Rail Images to post in here?
Part 4 of the helix construction is up. http://tropicalnscale.blogspot.com.au/2012/03/helix-part-4.html

John, looking good! I too went the CFL route to light my lower deck, but was surprised how many bulbs it took to get adequate lighting levels, even with 16" spacing. What wattage and spacing are you using? Thanks, and regards, Otto K.
I've not had the most satisfactory of results, using CFLs in the past. Am interested to seee how this all plays out. How the scenery looks and photographs, etc.
