I can hardly believe these are N Scale, they are!! Honest, no photoshopping here. Trainworx has raised the bar. 2slim
Those do look incredible! Are the tires really painted a realistic rubber color? They are really priced to sell too. I may need to order a few more. The two I ordered are without any end stripes because I believe the ones with stripes were earlier versions. Anyone know about when the last stripes were seen on these trailers? Russ
The tires are slightly weathered black as are the mudflaps, but not glossy black. They come with 2 sets of landing gear, down (which is on the model) and up (for mounting on flatcars). Very nice, now I can't wait for the drop decks!! 2slim
trainworx really outdid themselves on these does anyone know if these would fit in on a 1969 penn central
They're in???? WAAY COOOOL if my preorders are in!!!! Russ - I took a photo on Cajon in the summer of 1992 of a Santa Fe pig train that has trailers w/ no stripes, red stripes, and yellow stripes all on the same train.
I preordered ALL 24 #'s, good thing I did. I know there are a LOT of lurking contemporary modelers out there, so I knew what would happen.
Very nice. I've never looked at the real ones... Are the lower side areas just panels, or is there actually space behind them?
Crap, and I need a few of the UPS ones with red ends...and being sold out, hopefully Pat does another run real soon
You can get them, if you hurry... Caboose Hobbies lists them in stock as of Friday, December 2, 2011, 4PM... also, I would expect M.B. ¤¤¤¤¤ (¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤.com) to receive a shipment imminently... those who act quickly will be able to get these. I just got mine today, thanks to a Caboose Hobbies preorder. (Not included were the 85' flats, which will follow soon.) And yes, they redefine this modeling segment. -Bryan
I've got 8 or 10 UPS trailers on pre order & 5 of the drop deck in varies road names. They do look real good. Even down to the silver paint on rims.
Made it to th Oklahoma City Train Show and pickup one of these trailers...okay I got several !!!!One word describes these babies.....AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! I to would like some livestock trailers as well, Maybe we can get train-worx to produce some 1960's truck tractors as well. Keep Up the good work. Larry
