If you have a set of Optivisors, take a look at a QUASOR #6010. Made for the Optivisor and fits right on. Great lighting with 2 AA batteries (included) with 6 BRIGHT LED's. As you are working close to the model and there are 6 lights, you have an almost shadowless work area. About $23 or so from your local hobby shop. I am going to order one of these for my tired old eyes, what model of Optivisor should I get with it?
As far as I know they fit any Optivizor so you will have to decide what working distance you want. I find about 7" is comfortable for me, but the train store I got them from uses about 4" which is too close for me. Bottom line is that it is a personal decision. ...don
I believe i have the 4x Optivisors and I also have the Quasar set of lights. Be careful to not order the UV ones unless that's really what you want. These light have proven invaluable for doing detailed work.
