Kato UP yellow paint match

    Does anyone have a good match for the early Kato UP passenger car yellow?
    Id also like to know if anyone has a match for the newer COLA also.

    I started with PollyScale TTX Yellow and you can add a little bit of caboose red to get closer to the COLA version. I always mix a batch up and then try and test the match first, so I don't have an exact amount. 10:1 yellow to red I think.

    I have some heritage units I'm building that I'll have to match paint on so we'll see how it goes.

    I used Polyscale CNW yellow. It was closer than their Armour Yellow.

    I just saw a consist of UP smoothside cars freshly cleaned (the "freedom train" I think?) driving through Oakland a couple days ago. Looks very very nice in person!!
